AWS Cloud Solution Architect

A leading consultancy is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Solution Architect to join its technology delivery team in Dublin. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with clients, shaping cloud strategies, and designing scalable, modern solutions across a range of industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop cloud and hybrid solution architectures using AWS IaaS/PaaS services.

  • Work with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into effective system designs.

  • Lead technical direction for Agile delivery teams, ensuring high-quality solution output.

  • Design and implement cloud-native, AI/ML-enabled systems that support automation, analytics, and decision-making.

  • Contribute to technology strategy, architecture governance, and tooling evaluations.

  • Apply DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code principles to standardise and automate deployments.

  • Support cloud cost management initiatives and help clients implement FinOps practices.

About You

  • 3+ years’ experience in cloud architecture or a similar role.

  • Strong expertise in AWS services; AWS architecture certification is a plus or willingness to obtain it.

  • Proven track record delivering complex cloud solutions.

  • Excellent communication and consulting skills.

  • Broad technical knowledge across integration, infrastructure, and application architectures.

  • Experience with IaC tools and CI/CD environments.

  • Understanding of cloud cost optimisation and FinOps principles.

  • Additional experience with Azure or Google Cloud is an advantage.

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field.
